Canadians Coming On Strong with PMI’s OPM3® Certification

Ajilon Consulting - Celebrating 10 Years of ISO Certification

 

Toronto, Canada (June 1, 2007) – DNV, announced today that they have certified a group of internationally based OPM3 assessors and consultants in Canada.  The certification program is the result of a strategic alliance between DNV and the Project Management Institute PMI®. 

 

While the United States maintains the top spot by a wide margin of 55% of total companies certified, followed by The Netherlands with 11%, Canada is coming on strong with the issuance of three additional OPM3 Certificates during May 2007, which brings them to a total of 10%. 

 

The following countries were represented in the international OPM3 Certification program:

 

  • Canada (50% of the Toronto venue participants)
  • Greece
  • United States

OPM3 is the acronym for organizational project management maturity model and is a global standard developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Certified OPM3 Assessors and Consultants provide the latest knowledge, skills, methodology and tools to maximize an organization’s application of OPM3

 

PMI Certified OPM3 Assessors deliver OPM3 Assessment Services to organizations interested in measuring their level of project management maturity. The results are used by PMI Certified OPM3 Consultants as a basis for improvements in the organization such as the previously mentioned companies are now experiencing.
