Scheduling
DNV Certification maintains a centralized Scheduling function in Houston, Texas. The Scheduling Department provides maximum flexibility to the Client in ensuring that qualified personnel are available within the time frames desired, as they maintain track of all DNV audit personnel and pertinent information concerning them.

Audits
Audits are intended to act primarily as evaluation, measurement and learning tools for management, so that the degree of implementation and effectiveness of the Management System may be determined and that corrections may be made as required or improvements made where deemed appropriate.

Non Conformity Notes
As described earlier [Reference: Audits - Standard Methodology], during the course of the audit, the audit team will cover all applicable aspects of the relevant standard against the documented requirements of the Client's Management System (System Manual, procedures, work instructions, product or process specifications, established practices, etc.), as well as customer specifications and requirements, applicable statutory or legislative requirements, etc.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the Initial Audit and any subsequent Follow-up Audits which may be needed, the DNV Lead Auditor will complete a Recommendation for Certification form and forward it to the appropriate DNV Registration Center along with pertinent reports required as evidence of the Clients conformance to requirements. .
