This automated program validates competence and performance, with additional features of data aggregation and report generation by position, department or across the organization and/or healthcare system. Assessing competency and performance in the healthcare setting is a critical function. An effective system allows you to place the right individuals in the right positions and continually improve their competence and performance.
The end result is enhancement of patient and other customer outcomes and satisfaction that positively impact the bottom line.
How the program works
- Based on your organization outcomes and strategic plans you will select the competencies (from 1000+) and units of measurement (from 5500+) by utilizing those included for each position or you may add, delete, or modify competencies, units of measurement, rating criteria, and validation methods as you choose.
- At some point in time (your decision) you will aggregate the performance data to compare actual to expected outcomes - by individual, position, cost center, department (or care setting), hospital, or system.
- The software aggregates the performance data and creates reports to accommodate individual, position, cost center, department (or care setting), hospital, and system-wide results.
- The program tracks compliance with selected competencies and behaviors that exemplify the mission, vision, and values that will drive the strategic plan of the organization by defining and assessing priority behaviors.
